BSRU’s Office of International Affairs Hosts International Academic Conference with Partner Universities from 7 Countries

On January 19, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the Office of International Affairs and ASEAN Network at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University (BSRU) organized an international academic conference with nine partner universities from seven countries. The conference was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Kanakorn Sawangcharoen, President of BSRU, along with university executives, the Director of International Affairs and ASEAN Network Office, Deputy Directors, and Assistant Directors. The meeting was attended by 25 executives from the following institutions:
1. Universitas Mahasaraswati Denpasar, Indonesia
2. Leshan Normal University, People’s Republic of China
3. Hanyang University ERICA Campus, South Korea
4. Tribhuvan University, Nepal
5. Nepal Public Campus Association, Nepal
6. National Pingtung University, Taiwan
7. Lipa City Colleges, Philippines
8. National Teachers College, Philippines
9. Universiti Utara Malaysia, Malaysia
The conference objectives were:
1. To present BSRU’s international activities conducted in 2024
2. To exchange and learn about student exchange program plans for 2025 among participating universities
3. To implement proactive inter-university activities
4. To discuss international collaborative opportunities
The meeting facilitated extensive exchanges of ideas regarding academic cooperation, research collaboration, cultural arts, and academic services between institutions, all aimed at advancing BSRU’s sustainable development goals.
The Office of International Affairs and ASEAN Network will continue to host discussions on collaborative approaches and plan future joint activities to enhance international education standards. This initiative also aims to expand academic cooperation networks at the international level while strengthening friendly relations between institutions.
