The President and Executive Team of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University visited the Beijing Academy of Social Sciences in the People’s Republic of China for an international academic exchange activity to strengthen relationships and discuss collaborative research network development.

The Beijing Academy of Social Sciences (BASS) was established in August 1978, is a social sciences research institute fully funded and supervised by the Beijing local government. It has completed over 4,000 research projects, aiming to expand academic exchanges with external organizations and pursue deep academic collaboration to become a “leading national research institute with international reputation”.
During this visit, Assistant Professor Dr. Kanakorn Sawangjaroen and a delegation of 10 representatives from Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University were specially invited to participate in academic exchanges.
Notably, Dr. Kanakorn was honored to deliver a lecture on “Brief Overview of Thailand’s Development Direction” according to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation’s policy, presenting the university’s philosophy, vision, driving forces, and development activities aimed at achieving sustainable local development.
Subsequently, Associate Professor Dr. Nirun Suthinirand, Chair of the Educational Administration Doctoral Program, gave a lecture on “The Future of Thai Education in the Next 10 Years”, discussing nine research framework and directions to drive educational reform.
This consultation meeting aims to elevate international network collaboration for Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University and hopes to concretely promote academic exchange activities, particularly in research.
